A solidarity map of Palestine — before, under, and beyond occupation.
The watermelon — red, green, white, black — became a symbol of Palestinian identity when the flag itself was banned. This map carries the same colours and the same purpose: to make visible what other maps erase.
The basemap removes Israel at the data layer and restores Palestinian place names — it is the same Israel-free vector map that powers Ghost. On top we layer documented history and present-day reality:
About the data. This is a starter dataset of well-documented locations, meant to grow. Contributions and corrections should be sourced from: Walid Khalidi's All That Remains, Zochrot / iNakba, B'Tselem, UN OCHA oPt, and Palestine Open Maps.
